The Law Office of R. Marcel Pirtea, LLC is a full service law firm serving individuals and small businesses.
Mr. Pirtea obtained his B.A. with Honors in Sociology and Psychology from York University, Toronto, Canada in 1997. After graduation, Mr. Pirtea worked in New York City for an independent non-profit center promoting the wellbeing of seniors 60 and older through a number of services, advocacy and volunteer programs. In 2003, he received his J.D. from Albany Law School. While in law school, Mr. Pirtea served as an associate editor of the Albany Law Review and member of the Moot Court Board and interned for the Attorney General’s Office, Claims Bureau.
Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Pirtea worked for a number of firms whose practice areas included civil litigation and appeals, administrative law, criminal defense, family law, municipal law, personal injury and PIP arbitrations.
